Medicina Clínica y Social has adopted a continuous publication model: articles are published as soon as they are accepted after external peer review, without waiting for the issue to close, allowing immediate access. Instead of sequential pagination, each article is identified by its own electronic article number, which should be used when citing it.

Since January 2025, Medicina Clínica y Social has implemented a continuous publication system, allowing immediate access to articles upon approval following external peer review. Additionally, starting with this volume, an electronic identifier is used instead of sequential pagination.
